What is the oldest baseball you have on record?

1840-60's Lemon-Peel Style Baseball. This is an exceptional antique baseball which dates back to the days of Abner Doubleday. This is the same style of baseball which is displayed at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Amazingly, the leather has remained supple and the stitching is completely intact.

What is the oldest basketball you have on record?

We had a very RARE Outer Seam Laced basketball which dates from 1900 to 1910 era laced basketball. This style basketball, with the extruded seams, is an extremely rare version. The purpose of the exposed seams was to allow the basketball to be used outdoors and last longer. It resulted in the balls being used very hard and in rough conditions therefore the remaining examples are few. This example is made of chocolate brown, suede leather and exhibits a modest amount of use leaving the basketball with an ideal vintage patina! A great addition to any vintage basketball collection!

What is the oldest hockey puck you have on Sports Memorabilia Museum?

We have had a 1900-10’s Spalding “Official National League ” Hockey Puck. This is an exceptional early hockey puck. Unbelievably, the Spalding Official National League paper label still remains attached on the puck and is very readable. The puck itself does show some hard time on the ice but has loads of character and displays very nicely. Additionally, the sides of the puck are embossed with the Spalding logo and the word "OFFICIAL." You can see it under out hockey memorabilia tab!
